MUSIC
To minister through musical worship as part of our weekend services, across vocals, instruments, and ensemble playing.
Sub-areas:
- Vocals (Backing Vocals & Choir) — To minister through musical worship as part of our weekend services and to model and encourage demonstrative praise. Skills & Abilities: good singing voice, ability to listen to and blend with other vocalists, willingness to lead others from the platform.
- Band — To minister through our congregational worship as part of our band in the areas of guitar, piano, synth, bass or drums. Skills & Abilities: ability to play your chosen instrument with a high level of proficiency and a willingness to develop further; ability to listen to and blend with other musicians and to learn specific parts to songs.
- Strings, Horns and Woodwinds — To creatively minister through our congregational worship, either as a solo instrument or as part of an ensemble within the broader worship band. Skills & Abilities: ability to play your chosen instrument with proficiency and a willingness to develop further; ability to listen to and blend with other musicians and to learn specific parts to songs.
Commitment: Serve once every 2–6 weeks, attend team nights and relevant training nights.
General Times
- Kids: First Sunday of the Month- 7.15am-12.30pm
- Epic Youth: Fridays, fortnightly, 5pm-10pm
- Young Adults: Wednesdays, once a month, 5pm-10pm
- Weekends: Saturday: 2:45pm – 6:30pm, Sunday: 6:45am – 12:30pm
PRODUCTION
To utilise production elements such as cameras, computer graphics, lighting, photography, sound and online broadcast to glorify God, support an atmosphere of worship, and allow His Word to be heard and understood clearly.
Skills & Abilities: a desire and willingness to learn relevant technical processes and how to operate production equipment; ability to work in collaboration with and under the direction of others. No prior production skills or experience necessary.
Commitment: Serve once every 2–6 weeks, attend team nights and relevant training nights.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT
To creatively capture and share what God is doing at Knox through photography, video, graphic design, and content creation — helping grow engagement, awareness, and connection across our social platforms.
Skills & Abilities: An eye for photography, videography, and/or graphic design, basic skills in content creation and editing (or a willingness to learn), an understanding of social media platforms and trends, ability to work collaboratively and capture content discreetly during services and events without being a distraction.
Commitment: Serve on a rotating roster covering weekend services and select events, plus attend team nights and relevant training.

EVENTS
Supports the delivery of major church events by providing decoration, styling, hospitality, and catering assistance — helping create welcoming and engaging environments through event decorations, refreshment service, and hospitality support.
Skills & Abilities: ability to work collaboratively within a team, follow direction, take initiative when required, and contribute to creating welcoming and engaging event environments.
Commitment: Event-based rather than a regular weekly commitment. Volunteers may be invited to serve 2–6 times per year at major events such as Leaders & Teams Launch, Inspire Conference, Leaders & Teams Summit, Christmas, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Opportunities may include weekday and weekend involvement depending on the event and activity.
