Knox Serving Opportunities

Alpha runs over eight weeks, and explores the basics of Christianity onsite or online. Each week a meal is shared together (onsite only), followed by a short talk and small group discussion, where participants can ask anything, and contribute as much or as little as they like to the group discussion.

Building Facilities volunteers are co-ordinated on an “as-required”, rather than a roster basis. Building Facilities volunteer names will be entered on the Single Serve data base and when an opportunity to serve arises a call will be put out to all suitable volunteers. Volunteers can then respond if they are able to assist.    

CityLife Community Care operates to:

• assist people in developing and maintaining healthy relationships.
• offer support and compassion to those who are facing personal or relational distress, trauma, hardship or isolation.
• offer care and assistance to those who are experiencing poverty, destitution, suffering or misfortune.

The creative team exists to bring people into an atmosphere of worship and encounter with God’s presence through the disciplines of music and production both in weekend services and as a part of the wider expression of CityLife. 

Our kids are a vital part of CityLife.  We treasure each child and are committed to provide a safe, fun and God-filled environment for them. 

Kidz Bizz Playgroups are run as an outreach ministry of the church on a weekly basis. Our vision is to "demonstrate the love of Christ to families with young children in our local community". The groups are held in local community facilities using a structured two-hour program. 

There are a number of teams across our sites that help make our weekend services welcoming and run smoothly.

Motherhood is for mothers of children from birth to preschool age.  Our mornings are designed to provide time for mums to set aside for themselves in order to connect with and be encouraged by other women and selected guest speakers who will challenge and inspire. 

Prayer is the life-force of our church, connecting us to the living God and providing the foundation for everything we do.

As a church we place a high priority on doing our part to fulfil the Great Commission. Since 1967 we have been actively involved in cross-cultural missions, sending short term teams and long-term field partners into the field and supporting the work of local partners. Today we have 17 field partners in Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia.

The World Impact department represents and facilitates this passion of our congregation for cross-cultural missions but it is our team members and supporters that make all that we do possible! So why not consider if you can partnering with us.

Young Adults is the 18-30 ministry of CityLife Church. As a part of CityLife we seek to equip young adults to be all that God has called them to be. Young Adults is centred around monthly Worship + Word events, Life Groups and Missions.

EPIC Youth is the Youth Ministry at CityLife Church for teens in high school. At EPIC Youth we seek to do one thing… live a life of God sized proportions! EPIC Youth meets weekly, alternating between Life Group and LIVE events.
